Mr. Butts,

This e-mail address was on a website about water and salt intake. I hope it is still valid.

In 1994 I began to have chronic hives. A few years ago, I dealt with some emotional issues, and the hives went away.

I have begun having histamine issues again... including migraine headaches and water retention, and as I prayed about it, I believe the Lord showed me that salt is a problem for me.

Every time I have been given an IV, I have retained fluid and swelled... every single time.

When I gave birth, I went home weighing more than I did than before I had my baby! The doctor said the water weight would come off on its own, and it did - very quickly.

Looking back, I can see that this has been a problem all my life because I always gain a ton of water weight on vacation. It's from eating all of those high salt foods at restaurants I guess.

So according to the water cure, I would just need to drink more water? How much would I need?

Thank you! Donna Johnson

You need to go on our water cure2.org site. www.wtercure2.org and listen to our CD Rescued From the Grave. Listen to the edema testimonial. You'll learn why drinking more water causes edema to go. People also need a lot of salt. Google JAMA Low Salt Diet raises heart death rate 500%

Okay, I'm sold. I had been having hives for two weeks. I drank 64 ounces of water yesterday, and I had no hives last night. Praise God!

I have been extremely thirsty even after all of that water yesterday and today. I tried a pinch of sea salt on my tongue (I had some way back in a cabinet I forgot I even had) tonight, and it really helped with the thirst.

What I can't find on your site is how much sea salt I should take in in a day. I'd rather put it on my tongue than put it in the water.

If you can point me in the right direction on how much salt to use, I sure would appreciate it.

Thank you!

On your tongue is best. Google Jama & CD low salt diet raises death rate 500%. They also suggest 2 to 4 tsp of salt for best health. That is more accurate that what Dr. originally said. I use 3/8 to 1'2 tsp of sea salt per 10 ounces of water.

Let me add to your testimonials. I have tried for years to find a way to get rid of my hives, which I have had for years on end. I have visited every type of doctor, from traditional to homeopathic to accupunture, and have nothing to be of help. I have tried fasts (drinking only water and apple juice) and they helped more than anything else ever had. After doing some food restriction diet tests, I determined foods weren't involved. So, about three weeks ago I decided that maybe the drinking during the fast was what made the difference. I drank approximately 16 cups (128 oz.) per day. My hives were gone within two days and if I keep up the water drinking, the hives are staying away. Water, baby! That's the thing! I was just introduced to your site today. Thanks!
