I sent for Dr. Batmanghelidj's "Your Body's Many Cries for Water" over 10 years
ago after receiving a "bulk mailing: advertisement for it. Most "bulk mailings"
ended up in the trash, but the story of the ulcer cure caught my attention,
since I had been a Navy hospital corpsman and have had a fascination with
medicine since I was a teen.
After reading the book, and putting most of it into practice, I got distracted
and the book ended up on the shelf for several years.
A forum I've participated in for a few years brought up the subject of water and
I dug the book out. I also sent for several of Dr. B's other books and tapes to
expand my medical library. This was before I was to have cataract surgery (Dec
2008). I wanted to see if he Water Cure would help me to have less of the thick
post-nasal drip (brought on by years of being stupid enough to be a smoker,
though now done with those)that made me cough when lying on my back. I was going
to have to be STILL for an hour for the surgery. I'm delighted to report that I
was quite still and calm and the surgery went well. I am also not using my
inhalers for COPD except just before going to bed, and I may stop those soon.
Used to use 2 of them 4 times a day and two others every 12 hours. I was put on
medication for restless leg syndrome and an anti-spasmodic for the muscle spasms
of MS many years ago, as well as an anti-fatigue medication. All of these drugs
have the side-effect of causing drowsiness, so I'm beginning to cut them down,
too. Cannot cut them off "cold turkey" but can gradually cut them back until
they're cut out completely.
I used to get splits in my thumbs (occasionally other fingers) and they HURT!!
Don't get them anymore. My hands no longer look like those of an old crone (dry
and boney)and my skin is no longer flakey.
I used to put the coffee pot on first thing in the morning, but have not had a
cup of coffee for months now with no adverse side-effects and I don't miss it.
Water is my drink of choice and I feel more energized after my first three
glasses of water in the morning.
I've also been passing on he information about the Water Cure to several other
people who listen and they're fascinated by the simplicity of the program.
I'd love to get your newsletter and am so happy you are continuing to promote
Dr. B's simple but totally effective program.
Sincerely,
Virginia Facer
Thus far, the reported results of the watercure regarding skin problems like psoriasis, eczema and scleroderma are phenomenal. But why shouldn't they be? The common denominator is extreme dryness. Is it not obvious that the main cause would be dehydration and the only things that can cure dehydration are salt and water? We ask anyone who hasn't had great results with their skin problems to email us and give us the details. Keep in mind that the best results by far are when you eliminate caffeinated and alcoholic drinks as they are diuretics.
Hi Bob!
Great work on watercure. Saw you on the WYOU interview. Have been recommending
friends visit the site, read the material, watch the videos, and just stop and
think that the whole idea is just plain, common sense. I could go on and on, but
suffice it to say I've been using the recipe for over a week, now. The first
thing I noticed was that, after just the first 24 hours, my usually horrible
cuticles had healed. The rough, dry skin on my elbows and knees was now soft and
smooth. My eyes and nasal passages were no longer dry. But, for me, the most
important improvement was in clearing up the dry, scratchy throat I'd been
suffering with for over a week.
The weekend before accidentally stumbling upon Dr. B's book at my local Barnes &
Noble while searching for one or more books on throat care, I had just returned
from a week in Europe. By the end of Thursday of that week, my throat was
burning, and I didn't know why. Any remedy I tried would not last for very long
and, while I had been drinking water, I wasn't drinking nearly enough, as I
learned later. My apartment is extremely dry, too, which doesn't help matters,
but since I've been consuming the right amount of water and salt, I feel much
better than I have in quite some time.
So, just wanted to drop you a note to say hello, share an auto parts story, and
thank you for your continuing efforts on the late, great Dr. B's work.
Warmest regards...
Mike Harrison

Just thought I'd give you an update on the progress of the watercure treatment. I have now been drinking 2 litres of water per day and adding 3/4 tsp celtic sea salt to my meals for just over 2 months, including a daily intake of vitamin B6 which Dr. Batmanghelidj suggests for hot flushes. I am also eating alot more fresh fruit and vegtables plus nuts and seeds. My depression and mood swings which I suffered for a couple of years have gone. My hot flushes have greatly reduced. I am not taking any drug of any kind and feel wonderful. I have also noticed my skin is much softer, I am sleeping much better and feel more relaxed in general. I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU for supporting Dr Batmanghelidj and for your watercure2 website. I have started sharing the watercure with my family and will certainly share this with people I come in contact with.

Hi! My name is Doug Haigh and I am writing to you from Brisbane, Australia. For
the past eight years we have run a small business. My wife and I own and run a
pool shop with a service division. Naturally, we sell pool chemicals and
equipment to swimming pool owners in our area.
Two years ago I developed scaling and red rashes on my hands and the tops of my
legs and also the back of my arms. The symptoms are that you can’t stop
scratching and cosmetically you look like your skin has been burnt, with the
area looking inflamed. The doctors gave me strong steroid creams but that was
not the solution. After trying to become educated more on the subject of
dermatitis, I was getting nowhere. My doctor said the pool chemicals that I am
in contact with daily are probably the cause and suggested we go to another
environment and the dermatitis will probably clear up. How do you do that when
you are responsible to a business every day? I would look to see if there is any
sign of improvement, but there never is.
Three weeks ago I read in the book "Your Bodies Many Cries for Water"
and there was logic to this theory of dehydration. So I started my own program
daily of drinking five pints of water with a half a teaspoon of sea salt. My
body weight is 90 kilos so I figure that is close enough to being hydrated.
Well, the results are staggering. As I said it is only three weeks and my hands
have never felt smother or looked healthier. I still have some dermatitis on my
arms and legs but I can actually see it breaking up. I’m very confident that
in a week or two I will have beaten this thing. One point I should like to make
is our season here in Brisbane is now winter and that normally is worse on
dermatitis. I have found this in my case so once again I’m confident the water
& the sea salt are winning.
Thank you very much for sharing this natural miracle. If I can be of any help,
feel free to email me and if you want to use this as a testimonial, go for it.
